I graduated from The Master's College in Santa Clarita, CA in 2011 with a degree in Liberal Studies with a teacher education emphasis. My GPA was 3.89. I then completed the credential program at The Master's College in 2012 to receive my teaching certificate. This program also brought me half way to a masters degree.

Experience

While at The Master's College I tutored for the gen ed World History class. After graduation I worked as a 5th grade teacher for one year, and as a 5th-8th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher for 3 years. I would like to be a tutor because I love teaching, and I especially love one on one time with the students that you don't get as often in the classroom environment.

Hobbies

I have many hobbies and interests. I love learning of any kind, but especially language arts and history. I love acting in and directing plays. I like to be artistic and creative. Activities in this area include sewing, painting, drawing, and making fun things. I love music. When listing to music I tend to gravitate toward Broadway style tunes. I also love to make music through singing, piano, and flute. I enjoy being outside and all the fun things the outdoors has to offer, but I also enjoy being cozy inside and reading a book or playing a game. I have also tried my hand at a little writing.
